Ninewells Carol Concert - Friday 17 December
2004
Primaries 5 and 6 from St. Ninian's School
provide festive entertainment on Level 7, Ninewells Hospital.
This event, which also marked the launch of
our 50th anniversary, was attended by Dundee's Lord Provost
John Letford.

Studio Refurbishment - June to September
2004
Head Engineer Martin Hobson sets up the mixing
desk channels.
Engineer Garry at work in the Music Library

Ian Archibald begins the work on building the
new work surfaces.
Studio 3 (aka 'the computer') is now on the
air!
Broadcast and log PCs (top) are connected to
the new transmission racks. With the digital radio PC at the
side of the rack on the floor.
The new transmission rack in the control cupboard
takes over the broadcasting from the old transmission unit.
Studio 2 is finally finished (with Mic Live
light) and ready to go on the air. First broadcast Sunday 20
June 2004.
Studio 1 is completed by September 2004 and
we are once again back with two fully working studios.
