Radio Tayside was formed in 1975 when the station became independent from TOC H. The on-air name was changed slightly to Hospital Radio Tayside in 1999. They broadcast to patients until 2001 after merging with Radio Liff to form The Tayside Hospital Broadcasting Group, broadcasting as BRIDGEfm Hospital Radio.
