HBA National Hospital Radio Awards

The annual National Hospital Radio Awards recognise the best in hospital broadcasting. Every year HBA member stations compete in the hospital broadcasting equivalent of the "Sony Awards" as a showcase for the highest technical and artistic standards in hospital broadcasting.

The Hospital Broadcasting Association is the national charity that supports and promotes Hospital Broadcasting in the UK. Click here to visit HBA website.

BRIDGEfm was established in 2001 and the station has entered the HBA National Hospital Radio Awards since 2006.

Website award 2005

On 8 September 2005 the BRIDGEfm website, then designed and maintained by Honorary member Gordon Low, was designated a "Cool Site" in the Netscape Open Directory.

The DMOZ Category Editor said "I feel that your website is one of the best Hospital Radio websites currently on the internet. It contains everything a visitor or indeed, listener would want to know about the station but also about Hospital radio in general. Well Done and keep up the good work!"
