There are many ways you or your company can help
support BRIDGEfm Hospital Radio. We are a 100% voluntary organisation
and are a registered Scottish Charity. However, in order to
keep providing our service to the patients, we need to keep
raising funds.
Many of our costs are fixed, such as the licences
to operate three FM transmitters, but others are not. We have
just completed the refurbishment of both of our studios but
the equipment still has to be maintained and repaired or replaced
as necessary. We also have to try and keep our music library
up-to-date so that we can play the tracks requested by patients
on our nightly Request Programme.
BRIDGEfm can offer Programme
Sponsorship to allow you or your company to be associated
with this well-known charity.
We broadcast to Ashludie
Hospital, The Carseview Centre, Macmillan Day-Care Centre, Maggie's
Centre, Ninewells Hospital, Roxburghe House and Royal Victoria
Hospital on 87.7fm 24 hours a day.
This means that patients and visitors are able to hear our service
using standard FM radios. In addition we also broadcast across
Tayside and North Fife on DAB Digital Radio
for 40 hours a week and this service has a potential audience
of some 430,000 listeners. Included in our DAB Digital hours
are special programmes for Craigmill House (Strathmartine) and
Liff Hospital.
There are no fixed prices
for sponsorship and neither are you restricted to individual
programmes. Perhaps you may wish to sponsor all of our Request
Programmes, a specific part of the day, a full day or certain
individual programmes or features. Whatever you are looking
for we can tailor a package to suit your needs and will take
care of all of the production work so that your company can
be heard to be supporting Dundee's Hospital Radio station.
